Do you know which of the seven categories of labor protection gloves you need?

1. Use insulated gloves for live working
Rubber not only has good electrical insulation properties, but also has good tensile strength and depth, as well as puncture resistance, aging resistance, flame resistance, and low temperature resistance. This type of glove, regardless of its model, appearance size, and technical requirements, should comply with the provisions of the General Technical Conditions for Live Insulated Gloves. Mainly used in working environments with AC voltage of 10kV and below.
2. Acid and alkali resistant gloves
It can be made of rubber, latex, plastic, and impregnating materials, which have a certain protective effect on acid and alkali, but it needs to comply with the regulations for acid (alkali) resistant gloves. When using these gloves, it is necessary to check whether the gloves have defects such as spray frost, brittleness, viscosity and damage. Ensure the airtightness of the gloves and prevent leakage under certain pressure.
3. Oil resistant gloves
Nitrile rubber, chloroprene, or polyurethane are used to protect the skin of hands from oil stimulation, avoiding acute dermatitis, acne, folliculitis, dry skin, cracking, pigmentation, and nail changes.
4. Welder gloves
Made of cow, pig leather or two layer leather, it can be divided into two finger type, three finger type, and five finger type according to finger type. In the face of high temperature, molten metal, and spark combustion, it can protect hands. Welder gloves have strict requirements for appearance. For example, level products require leather with uniform thickness, fullness, softness, and elasticity. The plush on the leather surface needs to be fine, uniform, firm, and of consistent color depth. If leather lacks full elasticity, has thick fuzz on the surface, and is slightly darker in color, it is considered a secondary product.
5. Anti vibration gloves
Based on yarn gloves and leather gloves, a certain thickness of foam plastic, latex and air sandwich synthetic rubber or foam rubber is added on the palm of gloves to absorb vibration. Mainly used in industries such as forestry, mining, construction, and transportation that come into contact with vibration, to prevent occupational diseases caused by vibration. For anti vibration gloves, the anti vibration effect is inversely proportional to flexibility. Because the thicker the cushion, the greater the amount of air in contact, the better the anti vibration effect. But the thicker the palm and fingers, the greater the impact on the operation.
6. Fire-retardant and flame-retardant gloves
Traditional fire-resistant and flame-retardant gloves are made of as os material, divided into two fingers and five fingers, and come in three sizes: large, medium, and small. However, due to the irritating effect of as os fibers on human skin, they are now rarely used. At present, fire-resistant and flame-retardant gloves are generally made of flame-retardant canvas or other fire-resistant and flame-retardant fabrics, and are generally used for smelting furnaces or other types of kiln work.
7. Antistatic gloves
It is made of special anti-static fiber cloth. The substrate is composed of ribbon fibers and conductive fibers, with elasticity and anti-static performance, which can avoid the damage of static electricity generated by the human body to the product. Widely used in the electronics industry, semiconductors, dust-free workshops, and daily life.
